Guest Book Help

You can click the same help icon for additional help on other views of this page!
By Post Date
• Click the icon above to display a mini-calendar
• Click a calendar date to update the guest book posting list
• Click the calendar "Month, Year" on the top of the calendar to get a list of months for the year
• Click the calendar "Year" on the top of the "Month, Year" calendar list to get a list of years
By Post #
• Guest book posts have been reorganized by date
• From the drop down list, select any date to display the guest book posts for that day
Next Day
• Clicking will update the page to show post from the next day
• Next day will skip any days in which there are no posts
Previous Day
• Clicking will update the page to show post from the previous day
• Previous day will skip any days in which there are no posts

By Post Date
• Changing the date will return to listing all guest books postings for that date
By Post #
• Selecting an item in the drop down list will result in listing all guest book postings for that date
Next Post
• Clicking will update the page to show the previously posted entry
Previous Post
• Clicking will update the page to show the next posted entry
Post numbers are not sequential!!
• Inappropriate posts such as spam posts are hidden and therefore post numbers are not sequential

• Guest book posts are listed by Post ID / Date & Time
• Click the post title to display the full post text
• Click the previous day or next day links to update the listed posts
• Click the previous post or next post links to update the displayed post

Admin Guest Book Help

Edit Content
• Clicking this link allows you to edit the title and content of the currently viewed user post
• Click Cancel Edit to NOT save the changes you have made to the content
• Click Save Edit to save the changes you have made to the content
View All Post By Person
• Clicking this link will redirect you to a special admin page that shows all posts made by the user who posted the Guest Book entry that you are currently viewing
• User's are identified by EMAIL ADDRESS and not by name
Hide Post # On Web / Show Post # On Web
• If the post is visible on the web, clicking HIDE will result in user's not being able to see the post
• If the post is NOT visible on the web, clicking SHOW will result in user's being able to see the post
• Use this link when you want to hide a single, inappropriate post by a real Guest Book user
Ban Post By EMAIL ADDRESS / Allow Post By EMAIL ADDRESS
• CAUTION!! Clicking the Ban Post link will hide ALL GUEST BOOK POSTS made by the author of the current post
• Use this when a posting was made by a spammer, all attempts by the spammer to post again using that email address will fail
• CAUTION!! Clicking the Allow Post link will UNHIDE ALL GUEST BOOK POSTS made by the author of the current post
Ban Post By IP Address
• CAUTION!! Clicking this link will allow you to ban access to the website by IP address, this is better used by Russell
